Michael Bogar has completed two graduate degrees in theological and biblical studies and is currently completing his doctoral degree in the Humanities and Depth Psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara, CA. He is the spiritual director at the Bainbridge Island Spiritual Enrichment Center. He is an adjunct instructor at the Holmes School of Consciousness Studies, and teaches regularly at the Seattle Center for Spiritual Living.
He has spoken at various venues, including the Seattle Rotary Club, the King County Alternative Dispute Resolution Center and various other places. He is a regular guest on Mantz and Mitchell, Alternative Talk Radio at KKNW 1150 AM. Michael lives in Seattle and conducts seminars, classes and workshops on spirituality and psychology, combining scholarship, humor and practical wisdom in his presentations. His work underscores Soul-making as a dynamic process that values both positive and negative emotions as normal and necessary. There is no wasted moment in a soul-making life. He is available for guest speaking, teaching classes, and one-on-one counseling and mentoring.
